Drink Water, Save a Life.
In the month of January we are launching a 7-day campaign to raise money for a well that will serve both the Second Mile Haiti compound and the community of surrounding villages. It’s sort of like a new years’ resolution, only better!
Here’s how it works. For just one week during the month of January, we’re asking you take the money you would normally spend on coffee, soda, tea, juice, and sports drinks and donate $15, $20, or $30 toward this project. The average latte at Starbucks costs close to $4…so do the math and make your contribution!
Do your best to drink only pure water and as you enjoy each sip, remember the value of clean drinking water to your life and to the lives of your neighbors in Haiti. We’ll give you a trendy blue wristband to remember your cause and commitment.
Here’s what it says- Drink Water, Save a Life. That’s what you’re doing. Clean water can make a world of difference in the lives of so many in the developing world. In Haiti, deadly bacteria plagues water sources making water borne illness the second leading cause of death for children under five. Help bring life saving water to an area in need.
Get your wristbands, start a movement.
